COLUMBUS, Ohio – U.S. Senator George Voinovich is the recipient of the Ohio State Alumni Association’s 2010 Alumni Medalist Award, which will be presented at the Association’s annual awards gala on Friday, Sept. 24, at the Ohio Union.
Voinovich is one of 19 Ohio State alumni who will be honored at the 52nd awards. He’s also served as Ohio’s governor and as Cleveland’s mayor in a public-service career that spans more than 40 years. Voinovich earned a Juris Doctor from Ohio State in 1961. Other honorees include:
