Congratulations and welcome

Ohio State graduation

Updated 8/29/10

Ohio State graduated a 1,757 students on Sunday and the Alumni Association congratulates these newest alumni on their hard-earned diplomas.

As a gift, graduates receive a free year of Alumni Association membership. Here is a primer on that free membership.

Your Alumni Association online account is where you can update personal information like your mailing and e-mail addresses. This ensures you will receive your alumni magazine, information about alumni football tickets, and other news about your membership.

Set up your account by visiting the Alumni Association Web site and clicking the SIGN IN tab at the top of the page. A video tutorial on how to activate your account is here: VIDEO.

Members receive six editions of the award-winning Ohio State Alumni Magazine. The magazine recently completed its 100th year of publication and continues to deliver compelling stories about the people and discoveries that make Ohio State great. Read past stories here: SPOTLIGHT.

Each year, the Alumni Association conducts a random lottery that determines if members receive two tickets to one Buckeye home football game. Non-paying Association members are not eligible for the 2011 lottery, but can become eligible by purchasing a membership at a reduced rate by March 1, 2011. In 2008 and 2009, 90 percent of members who applied for tickets received them.

Members are entitled to discounts on short-term major medical insurance and a variety of other insurance programs.

In addition to these benefits the Alumni Association has alumni groups, programs, the Official Ring of Ohio State, travel opportunities, and more. Find out more about what the Association has to offer at www.ohiostatealumni.org. Also visit us on Facebook and Twitter, or send us an inquiry at customerservice@ohiostatealumni.org.
