From this interactive session, you'll leave with concrete program ideas you can implement as soon as you get home and hear about some of the new and exciting events happening on campus. GENERATING DOLLARS FOR GENERATION Y
Gear up to serve the next generation of Buckeyes with this crash course on scholarships. Topics will include ways to raise money for current-use and endowment accounts, types of financial aid and eligibility requirements, and an update on the Alumni Scholars Program. CONFLICT RESOLUTION
Conflict is an inevitable part of our daily interactions - at work, at home, with friends. This interactive session will help you identify your dominant style when responding to conflict situations, and understand the styles of others. We will introduce and practice an easy-to-follow model for confrontation to resolve conflict successfully. Although the focus will be on one-on-one conflict and confrontation, the concepts and skills can be applied to group settings.

Marketing opportunities for organizations online has blossomed over the past several years, but so have the confusing options and alternatives. What is the best social networking site? How can I use YouTube in my marketing plan? How much E-mail is too much to send to my constituents? Discover some new strategies in this session.

POLITICS: THE ELECTION OF 2008
This session will focus on the basic forces at play in determining the outcome of that election. It will begin by answering key questions about the composition of the 2008 electorate before examining how the McCain and Obama campaigns are attempting to appeal to partisans and nonpartisans. In the presidential contest, the goal is to win a majority of the state Electoral College votes, not the popular vote. Which states are emerging as the campaign battlegrounds for the Electoral College victory, and why? Finally, we will address the consequences of different election outcomes for future of American politics and government.

WORK/LIFE BALANCE
What does work life mean to you? Which generation first coined work life balance? Can anyone really find it? These and more questions will be discussed in this session to create more awareness about what you need to better integrate the two worlds of work and life? Let's explore the definition of work life together and create coping strategies to move you forward. Presenter: Mona Fitzer Program Director for Work Life at The Ohio State University

CONDUCTING EFFECTIVE MEETINGS
If you've ever left a meeting feeling like your time was wasted, nothing was accomplished, no one was heard, and the same old topic was discussed for the twenty-sixth time, than this session is for you. A variety of tools and techniques to make meetings less painful, more productive, and possibly even fun, will be offered.
