WHAT IS A BUCKEYE BASH? A Buckeye Bash is a stand-up pep rally hosted by the Ohio State Alumni Association before selected Ohio State home and away football games. These events offer you an opportunity to gather with fellow Buckeyes and get ready for that day’s big game. The cost of a Bash includes site rental, food, beverages, door prizes, raffles, and appearances by Brutus Buckeye, the Ohio State cheerleaders, and other notable Ohio State personalities when possible. These events are typically held within walking distance of the stadium.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR AWAY-GAME BUCKEYE BASHES?
For 2012, ticket and tailgate (Bash) packages will be available for Ohio State vs. Michigan State and Ohio State vs. Penn State. Alumni Association members can visit www.ohiostatealumni.org on June 6 at 1 p.m. to apply for the Buckeye Bash at Michigan State and June 13 at 1 p.m. to apply for the Buckeye Bash at Penn State. All those applying will need to have activated their Alumni Association online account.
Bash packages that include tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and will be available until the tickets are sold out. There is a limit of two game tickets per membership. Bash-only admission will be available for purchase online until two weeks prior to the event.

- Visit www.ohiostatealumni.org and click on SIGN IN at the top of the page.
- When the red sign-in box appears, click "Forgot your Password" on the right hand side.
- Enter your e-mail address and click "RESET PASSWORD." Now check your e-mail for a message from our customer service department which will provide you with a link to reset your password.
- We recommend that if you’ve forgotten your password, to reset it as soon as possible to save time when you apply for the Bashes beginning on June 6.

DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO PURCHASE TICKETS TO A BUCKEYE BASH?
Yes, only active, dues-paying members of the Association are permitted to purchase Bash packages that include both away-game tickets and Bash admission (associate members do not qualify for football tickets).There is a limit of two game tickets per membership.
If you are not an active, dues-paying member, you are not eligible to purchase away-game tickets. However, all Buckeye fans are invited to purchase Bash tickets and can do so by submitting a “Bash only” registration.
HOW CAN I JOIN THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SO I CAN PURCHASE AWAY-GAME TICKETS?

CAN I APPLY FOR TICKETS AND THEN GIVE THEM TO A FRIEND OR OTHER OSUAA MEMBER? The person submitting the application must be the person who attends the Bash and uses the game tickets. The name on the reservations MUST match the name of the person picking up the tickets. This person needs to present a photo ID when they pick up their tickets.
CAN I APPLY IN PERSON OR OVER THE PHONE FOR THE BUCKEYE BASH?
No. Applications are only accepted online.
CAN I ORDER MORE THAN TWO TICKET-AND-TAILGATE (BASH) PACKAGES?
Each active, dues-paying member of the Association is permitted to purchase two ticket-and-tailgate (Bash) packages for each game.
WHAT IF I SHARE A JOINT MEMBERSHIP?
Joint memberships count as one membership and those members are permitted to purchase two ticket-and-tailgate (Bash) packages for each game.
WHAT IF I DON’T NEED GAME TICKETS?
You can still join us and your fellow Ohio State fans at the Buckeye Bash tailgate party prior to the game. To purchase tickets for the tailgate alone, select “Bash only” when completing your online registration form.
HOW WILL I FIND OUT IF I’VE RECEIVED TICKETS TO AN AWAY GAME AND BUCKEYE BASH?
You will receive an automatic e-mail confirmation and receipt upon successfully submitting your request. The e-mail will confirm the personal contact information of the person submitting the request and each item they requested in their order.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION E-MAIL?
This e-mail will include an agenda for the day of the game; location of the tent; parking directions and maps; a menu; a football ticket seating diagram and information on where to pick up your tickets if you arrive late; and other useful information unique to each game location. The additional information e-mail will be sent approximately two weeks prior to the game.
WILL MY GAME TICKETS BE MAILED TO ME?
No, game tickets will be distributed at the Buckeye Bash prior to the game. All tickets not picked up at the Bash will be taken to the Visitors Will-Call office one hour prior to the game.
BUCKEYE BASH LOGISTICS
ARE LODGING AND/OR TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED?
Neither lodging nor transportation is included in the Bash fees. Attendees are responsible for their own lodging and transportation arrangements.
WHAT ARE THE OFFICIAL OHIO STATE ALUMNI HOTELS FOR AWAY GAMES?
The Alumni Association has, where possible, negotiated special room rates in select cities that host away games. If the Association is unable to secure a block or rooms or special room rate, information on local lodging options will be provided in advance of the game. 2011 ALUMNI HOTELS
WHERE IS THE BASH LOCATED AND WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
Events are generally held within walking distance of the stadium. An email with additional information, details and maps will be sent to participants two weeks prior to the game.
IS PARKING INCLUDED?
No, parking is not included in the price. You will receive an e-mail 10-14 days before the event with information on parking options and how much it may cost.
HOW DO YOU DETERMINE THE COST OF A BUCKEYE BASH?
The Buckeye Bash is provided as a sponsored program of the Association. Our goal is to provide fans with the best possible tailgate experience in close proximity to the stadium. The rental fees associated with staging this type of event (site rental, food, sound system, etc.) dictate the cost for participants.
IS THERE A REFUND IF I CANNOT ATTEND THE BASH?
Unfortunately, there are no refunds.
DO YOU OFFER VEGETARIAN FOOD OPTIONS?
The Association will make every effort to provide this option when available. However, due to the pre-set menus of our on-site caterers, it is not always possible.
WILL ALCOHOL BE SERVED AT THE BASH?
Information regarding alcohol will be provided in the final confirmation note you will receive prior to the event.
HOW DO I GET INTO THE BASH ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT?
To enter the Bash, present the email that contains your confirmation and receipt as well as a photo ID to the Association staff at the check-in area. They will issue you a wristband which will get you into the event.
WHAT IF I’D LIKE TO BRING A YOUNG CHILD?
Everyone who wants to enter the stadium for the game must have a ticket, regardless of age. All fans, except for those two-and-under, are required to have a ticket to enter the Bash. There is a reduced Bash rate for children age 12 and under.
