1) USE: Any use of the Longaberger Alumni House for meetings and/or food functions must be scheduled through the Conference Services Department at (614) 292-3067. Rentals are available seven days a week, 7a.m. until 1 a.m. 

2) SPACE: Space will be reserved on a first-come basis and tentatively held until a signed contract and full deposit are on file with the Conference Services Department. Space is booked on a per hour basis, after the first initial two hour minimum. If you require additional time, please contact the Conference Services Department immediately for details.

3) EQUIPMENT/ANCILLARY SERVICES: Rental equipment, such as audiovisual aids, linens, phone needs, tents, dance floors, etc. are available through the Conference Services Department. Charges will be included on the final invoice.

4) FOOD: All food or beverage brought into the Longaberger Alumni House must be contracted through one of the approved caterers. A 15% Catering Site Fee will be added to all food and beverage by the caterer and paid directly back to the Longaberger Alumni House.

5) ALCOHOL: All alcohol must be arranged through Oxley's Beverage Service. They are the only ones permitted to handle all sales and service of beverages. Please contact the Conference Services Department for further information.

6) SMOKING: The Longaberger Alumni House is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is permitted outdoors in the designated area.

7) DELIVERIES: All deliveries must be coordinated through the Conference Services Department. The Ohio State University Alumni Association, Inc. cannot assume any responsibility for items left by the caterer, rental company or facility user.

8) DECORATIONS: Props, floral arrangements, live plants, and weighted helium balloons are welcome. No tacks, nails or similar items may be used in meeting rooms and/or corridors. A special adhesive can be made available through the Conference Services Department with prior notice.

9) ENTERTAINMENT: Entertainment and/or music are subject to the Alumni House's discretion and must be cleared through the Conference Services Department.

10) PARKING: Adjacent parking is available to facility users at no cost; however, no parking space is guaranteed.

11) CANCELLATIONS AND DEPOSITS: If a deposit has been received and the event is cancelled less than 30 days prior to event, all deposits are non-refundable. If the event hase been cancelled less than 5 business days prior to the event, full room rental will be charged to the client. If a client has submtited a 100W/eRequest for payment, the 100W/eRequest will act as a deposit and will be billed using the stated guidelines.

12) PAYMENT: Acceptable forms of payment are procurement card, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express), check, cash, and 100W/eRequest. If paying by check please make payable to OSUAA, and list your 4-digit booking number in the memo section.

13) LIABILITY: Each facility user shall indemnify and hold harmless the Association, its agents and employees against any and all damages, claims, liability due to loss of the property of others or any other liability arising out of its use of the Longaberger Alumni House facility. The facility user is responsible for the payment of any damages to or loss of The Association's property if it occurred as a result of the preparations or clean up for, or during the actual event itself.

14) COMPLIANCE: The Ohio State University Alumni Association, Inc. reserves the right to deny use or continued use of its facilities to any person or organization not complying with the Association's policies and procedures.
