OHIO STATE ALUMNI MAGAZINE. Published six times a year, Ohio State Alumni Magazine helps you stay up-to-date on friends and former classmates; goings-on around the Oval and beyond; and local, national, and international issues with an Ohio State connection.
Do you have a new job? Did you recently get married or add to your family? Tell us about it!
If you have a product or service to advertise to the more than 130,000 Alumni Association members, download our ad kit and contact Deborah S. Sawyer, advertising sales representative, at (614) 337-2351 or the Alumni Communications office at (614) 292-3811.
CLUBS AND SOCIETIES. More than 200 Ohio State Alumni Clubs exist in communities throughout the world. And nearly 50 Alumni Societies have been organized among graduates from specific colleges, schools, programs, or with other common interests. These organizations plan hundreds of events throughout the year, inspiring alumni to gather for community service, continuing education, networking, and fun. They are an important source of individuals who take on leadership roles for the Alumni Association on a local level. And many current and prospective students benefit from scholarships funded by clubs and societies.
Click here to find club or society in your area or with your interests.
CLASSMATE SEARCH. The Alumni Association offers two ways to find your former classmates:
- A directory of members is featured within the On-Line Community. Members register by using the eight-digit ID number shown on your Alumni Association member card or on the Ohio State Alumni Magazine mailing label.
- The Alumni Development Information Service will forward your cards or letters to former classmates on your behalf. Enclose a note with the names and class years of the individuals you're looking for, along with your name, class year, address, and telephone number. Send it to ADIS@osu.edu or by mail to Classmate Search, Alumni/Development Information Services, Room 114, 2400 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, OH 43210-1061.
BUCKEYE BASHES. Come join the fun at the Alumni-Association sponsored tailgates before each game the football team plays away from home.
Tailgate-only tickets are available for each game. You do not have to be an Alumni Association member to purchase the tailgate-only tickets. In most cases there is no limit to the number of tailgate only tickets you can purchase.
Active Alumni Association members are given the opportunity to purchase tailgate-and- football ticket packages at most away games. Reservations are first come, first served. The limit is generally two tailgate-and-ticket packages per household. The application is available online on June 1 (or the first weekday following June 1). Game tickets are not available without purchasing the tailgate.
To be able to have real fun and the opportunity to purchase tailgate-and-football ticket packages at most away games, please go to our membership page and join The Ohio State University Alumni Association.*
The Alumni Association also sponsors a Buckeye Bash before the bowl game. These bashes are usually free with food and merchandise available for purchase. Bowl game tickets are not available through the Buckeye Bash program.
