 Nominations Open for 52nd Alumni Awards

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Nominations are now open for the 52nd Alumni Awards, which will be presented on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, at the new Ohio Union.

Awards will be presented in eight categories:

  • Alumni Medalist Award for national or international achievement
  • Josephine Sitterle Failer Award for volunteer service to students
  • Dan L. Heinlen Award for university advocacy
  • Professional Achievement Award for career achievement
  • Robert M. Duncan Alumni Citizenship Award for community service
  • William Oxley Thompson Award for early career achievement
  • Ralph Davenport Mershon Award for service to Ohio State
  • E. Gordon Gee Spirit of Ohio State Award

The award nomination period is open until Mar. 31.
