 Association hosts Welcome Wednesdays

Schmahl Suite

Wednesdays are more than just hump day at the new Ohio Union.

Beginning in April, the Alumni Association began hosting Welcome Wednesday every Wednesday at the Joe-Ann Schmahl Suite in the Union. The Schmahl Suite is the Association's satellite office in the new facility.

So what are Welcome Wednesdays?

Simply put, they are an opportunity for current students or recent graduates to visit the space and get tips and feedback on career plans, job networking, or internships.

Association staff are on hand at the Schmahl Suite to address any concerns or questions that students may have about their careers. The sessions are designed to serve as a resource for students and recent graduates who are just starting down their career paths.

There is no reservation necessary for Welcome Wednesdays. Students are invited to stop in at any time during the day for answers to their career questions.

These sessions are led by Alumni Association director of student programs, Josh Harraman.
