DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION TO APPLY FOR THE BUCKEYE BASH?
You must be a member if you are applying for both game and tailgate tickets. Game tickets available through the Buckeye Bash™ program are a benefit of membership. For couples with joint memberships, either member may apply but there can only be one application per household.
If you are just ordering "bash only" tickets, you do not need to be a member; all Buckeye fans are encouraged to join us.

HOW DO I APPLY? Use the online application form that will be available on June 2.
CAN I APPLY IN PERSON OR OVER THE PHONE? No, we are not able to accept applications in person or over the phone.
DO I HAVE TO HAVE MY ALUMNI ID ON MY APPLICATION? The alumni ID is not required.
WHEN WILL I KNOW IF MY APPLICATION HAS BEEN PROCESSED?
This year applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. After we receive your application, your membership will be verified. Applicants who are members in good standing will either get a confirmation or notice that tickets are no longer available. Non-members will receive information on how to join the Alumni Association.
CAN I APPLY TO ATTEND EVERY BASH?
Yes, this year you can use a single form to apply for multiple bashes. You will receive separate confirmation notices for each event.
I'M TRAVELING WITH FRIENDS AND WE WANT TO SIT TOGETHER AT THE GAME. IS THIS POSSIBLE?
Absolutely. Just include the names of those individuals on the appropriate line on the application.
CAN I ORDER MORE THAN TWO TICKET-AND-TAILGATE (BASH) PACKAGES?
At this time you can only purchase two tickets-and-tailgate packages.
IF I BUY ONE TICKET-AND-TAILGATE (BASH) PACKAGE, WHAT DO I GET?
Each ticket-and-tailgate bash includes admission for one into the Buckeye Bash and one game ticket.
WHAT IF I DON'T NEED GAME TICKETS?
We still hope to see you at the tailgate event. Indicate “bash-only” on your form. These reservations for just the tailgate will be accepted until two weeks prior to the event.
THE FORM TOLD ME THERE WERE TICKETS LEFT BUT WHEN I GOT TO THE LAST PAGE I GOT A MESSAGE SAYING THAT THE NUMBER OF REMAINING TICKETS EXCEEDS MY REQUEST. WHY DID THIS HAPPEN? Based on our experience in 2007, there could be hundreds of people accessing the form at the same time. The only way for us to prevent an oversell was to design a system that checks the available ticket numbers again before you click submit. Unfortunately, this means that the tickets may no longer be available when you attempt to submit the finished form.
ARE YOU GOING TO MAIL ME MY GAME TICKETS?
No, game tickets will be distributed at the Buckeye Bash. All tickets not picked up at the Bash will be taken to visitors’ will call one hour prior to kick-off.
WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH THE BUCKEYE BASH TAILGATE?
The $10 charge for the USC tailgate covers costs for a facility near the stadium, games, and prizes. A meal is not included with admission to this bash. We are working to have food and beverage concessionaires.
For the other bashes, the cost of the tailgate includes food, beverages, a facility near the stadium (the tent), trivia games, door prizes, raffles and appearances by Brutus Buckeye, the OSU cheerleaders (when schedules permit).
WHAT IF I WANT TO TAKE A YOUNG CHILD TO THE GAME? Everyone who enters the stadium, regardless of their age, must have a game ticket. You must buy a ticket-and-bash package for your young child if he/she is going to the game. This counts toward your two ticket-and-bash per game per household limit.
WHAT IF I JUST WANT TO BRING MY CHILD TO THE BUCKEYE BASH? There is no charge for children two-and-under. There is a reduced rate for children 12-and-under.
ARE LODGING AND/OR TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED?
Neither lodging nor transportation fees are including in the bash price. Attendees must make their own arrangements for lodging and transportation.
IS PARKING INCLUDED?
No, parking is not included in the price. You will receive an email 10-14 days before the event with information on where you can park and pricing details if available.
HOW DO YOU CALCULATE THE COSTS OF THE BUCKEYE BASH?
The Association provides these events to alumni at no profit. To provide the best possible experience we have secured locations in close proximity of the stadiums so participants can park only once for both the event and game. These venues require rental and facility charges. Nearly 60% of the Buckeye Bash cost goes towards logistics including the rental of tent, chairs, sound, and other service fees. Please remember, a meal will not be served at the USC bash.
WHERE IS THE LOCATION OF THE TENT AND WHERE DO I PARK?
Events are generally held in large tents within walking distance of the stadium. A complete confirmation notice with details and maps will be sent via e-mail two weeks prior to the game. If you do not have access to e-mail, the confirmation can be faxed or mailed to you.
WHAT ABOUT VEGETARIAN OPTIONS?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer vegetarian options at most of the tailgates because of preset menus. We do try to offer a vegetarian option when possible.
HOW DO I GET INTO THE TAILGATE? DO I NEED A TICKET?
Your confirmation letter and a picture ID are needed to gain admittance to the bash. You will receive a wristband at the registration or check-in desk that will allow you to gain admittance to the tent.
CAN I APPLY FOR TICKETS AND THEN GIVE THEM TO A FRIEND?
The person submitting the application must be the person who attends and uses the game tickets. The name on the reservation MUST match the name of the person picking up the tickets. You will need to show a current picture ID. Anyone reselling their tickets may lose future rights to purchase football tickets through the Alumni Association.
WHAT IF I CANNOT ATTEND THE EVENT? IS THERE A REFUND?
There are no refunds.

WILL ALCOHOL BE AVAILABLE AT THE TAILGATE?
Information regarding alcohol will be in the final confirmation notice that you will receive prior to the event.
WHAT ARE OFFICIAL OHIO STATE ALUMNI HOTELS?
The Alumni Association has negotiated special room rates for a block of rooms at hotels in select cities hosting away games. If the Alumni Association is unable to secure a block, a link to local lodging information will be provided. It gives Buckeye fans the comfort of knowing they are staying with other Buckeyes. Be sure to book your room before the cut-off dates.
