FOOTBALL TICKET UPDATE
Here is the latest information regarding football ticket allocations for the 2006 season:
Alumni ticket orders more than doubled from last year. Due to the increased demand, 20,000 people have been moved to another game. An additional group of approximately 2,000 alumni will receive a refund from the athletic ticket office. Refunds for the Northern Illinois game have been mailed.
In addition, the ticket office received 6,000 more student ticket applications than were projected. Students receive top priority, and that helped create a significant supply problem for the 2006 allocation. Students are not assigned to non-conference games for the simple reason that they haven’t yet arrived on campus. Having said that, Bowling Green is a non-conference game; but because it follows a conference game in the schedule, it is included in the student season ticket.
