COLLEGE FAIR ONLINE LEARNING CENTER
Welcome! This program will help you understand the Ohio State's recruiting standards and the Alumni Association's college fair recruiting process. The alumni student recruitment program at Ohio State was created in response to alumni interest in supporting their alma mater as volunteer admissions representatives in their local communities. The people who make the program work are alumni recruiters like you. This online resource center is one way to help you become comfortable with the recruiting process.
HOW THE CENTER WORKS
Using this online learning center puts control of your learning in your hands. You decide the order in which to review the content at a time of day convenient for you. If having more structure helps you learn, here is our recommended approach:
- Review our recruiting standards and principles of good practice. Be able to differentiate between ethical and unethical behavior.
- Learn the recruiting process by preparing for college fairs, reviewing the contents of your college fair box, following the process for the day of the event, and completing the follow-up process after the college fair.
- Become familiar with the answers to frequently asked questions.
- Take a short quiz to test your progress (we don't see your answers) on recruiting messages, admissions criteria, and the recruiting process.
