On Crete, discover how the Greek way of life is flavored by the island’s Venetian and Turkish past. Explore Rethymnon, and the Palace of Knossos, which the myths describe as the home of King Minos and the Minotaur. Visit the lovely town of Chania. Cruise to Santorini, believed to be the site of the lost city of Atlantis! Visit Akrotiri, one of the most important prehistoric sites in Greece; Profitis Ilias, Santorini’s highest point; and the charming village of Pyrgos.
