Even as we celebrate the Rose Bowl victory, we know that some of you are already looking forward to next year's bowl season. Please review the information and elgibility guidelines below.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE 2010/2011 BOWL TOUR?
To provide space on these bowl tours for as many alumni and loyal supporters of The Ohio State University as possible, the following procedures will be in effect: The university's major benefactors and Active* members of The Ohio State University Alumni Association, Inc., as of June 30, 2010, may receive priority for space on bowl tours. Immediate family members (husband, wife, dependent children) traveling with them will also qualify if included on the member's application. Individual members of the Alumni Association will be allowed one guest on their application as long as they room with the member and are included on the member's application. Should tour space be available beyond that used by the above priority groups, eligibility will be based on one Active member of the Alumni Association per room and will be made available to other members of the Association and to those who joined the President’s Club** by December 31, 2008** and/or the Buckeye Club** (at the Big Ten Championship Level and above) after June 30, 2010.
*Active: Dues-paying members of the Alumni Association who have successfully completed 15 or more hours of course work at Ohio State.
**Levels of giving and priority are determined by the President’s Club and Buckeye Club. Questions should be directed to the President’s Club at (614) 292-9550 or the Buckeye Club at (614) 292-9908.
WHAT DO YOUR PACKAGES INCLUDE? Ohio State Alumni Bowl Tour packages can purchased with or without round-trip air from Columbus and include official hotel accommodations, welcome reception, complete game-day package featuring pregame meal, game ticket, and transfers, Buckeye Bash, New Year's Eve event (when applicable), optional sightseeing activities, escorts throughout, luggage handling, detailed tour documents, and souvenirs.
WILL I RECEIVE A BOWL TOUR INVITATION? No invitations will be mailed. Please look for bowl information on our Web site and in the Ohio State Alumni Magazine and Alumni Football News (e-newsletter). You can also sign up for e-mail updates by visiting www.ohiostatealumnisportstravel.com.
CAN I BUY GAME TICKETS ONLY? No, not through the Alumni Association.
