Student Alumni Council had a strong showing during this year's Parent and Family Weekend. On Saturday, Student Alumni Council volunteers helped meet, greet, and seat the families attending the Legacy Lunch, and got the opportunity to mingle and network with some very enthusiastic alumni. After working hard at the Legacy Lunch, serveral SACers ventured over to Stillman Hall where we hosted over 150 students and their families at our 5 Under 25: What I Wish My Parents Knew session. Everyone in attendance was actively engaged in the panel and had nothing but good things to say at the conclusion. To wrap up the programming for the day, SAC volunteers hosted a Parent and Family Weekend craft event which was based on tradition and took part during the Illinois tailgate. Families came down to the Union and got their pictures taken together, and then created frames, scrapbook pages, buttons and more, all done in scarlet and gray (even the pictures)! The over 200 guest present at this event could not get enough and kept coming back for more! Overall, Parent and Family Weekend turned out to be extremely due to the hard work of Parent and Family Relations, Student Alumni Council, and all of the other departments and organizations that dedicated their time. Go Bucks!
