This year the Student-Alumni Council once again built and decorated a float and participated in the Homecoming Parade! The theme of the parade this year was ‘Tradition Marches On”, and our float featured a Script Ohio theme! On one side was Script Ohio on the field and a ‘75’, honoring the 75th anniversary of this sacred Ohio State tradition, and on the opposite side was the photos of five famous ‘I’ dotters including, E. Gordan Gee, John and Annie Glenn, and Lex Wexner. The members of SAC had a blast building and decorating our float and walking in the parade! We also were fortunate enough to have members of the Student-Alumni Council Alumni Society and former members of Homecoming Court walking in the parade with our float!
In addition a group of SACer’s walked at the end of the parade and carried a banner promoting our Homecoming Pep Rally! Overall the float and parade were a great success and created a ton of memories for the students who participated!
