Heidelberg…a vibrant city that combines the activity and artistry of a university town with the presence of one of the oldest surviving castles in the country. Travel with alumni from Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio, and celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the American Junior Year Program, a collaboration between our colleagues in Ohio and Heidelberg University in Germany that provides American students a total immersion experience in German language and culture. A concert choir performance and a Neckar River dinner cruise with fireworks over Heidelberg Castle are amongst the festivities. Visit Neuschwanstein Castle, the fairytale-like fortress of King Ludwig II, relax aboard the Goethe, the world’s oldest paddle steamer, on a Rhine River day cruise, and more.
