Enjoy a special welcome reception and dinner at our hotel, The Diplomat Country Club and Spa in Fort Lauderdale.

Days 2 and 3
Fly to Lima aboard our private jet and transfer to a local flight to Cusco, the legendary city at the center of the Andean world for centuries. Then travel by train through the wildly scenic Urubamba Valley to Machu Picchu. Abandoned by the Inca and only rediscovered in 1911, Machu Picchu is one of the world’s greatest archaeological sites and natural wonders. Hotel Monasterio, Cusco

Days 4 and 5
Fly 2,300 miles off the coast of Chile to Easter Island, the most remote inhabited island in the world and an open-air museum of ancient stone villages, sanctuaries, and giant statues called moai. Resident archaeologist Edmundo Edwards explores the island’s treasures with you. Hanga Roa Hotel, Iorana Hotel, and Taha Tai Hotel

Day 6
Tropical Samoa is one of the most traditional of Polynesian cultures. Visit Vailima, once the home of Robert Louis Stevenson, who wrote fascinating stories about the local people. Here we will enjoy a fia fia, a colorful performance of Samoan dance and song. Aggie Grey’s Lagoon Beach Resort and Spa

Day 7
From Polynesia we continue our voyage across the Pacific, crossing the International Date Line. We lose a day and arrive in Australia the following afternoon.

Days 8 and 9
The resplendent Great Barrier Reef is home to an exceptionally rich variety of marine life, unparalleled in the world. We will have the opportunity for relaxation, bird watching, snorkeling, and other activities in this incredible marine sanctuary. Sea Temple Resort and Spa, Port Douglas

Days 10 and 11
Fly to Cambodia to explore the astoundingly beautiful monuments at Angkor. Built between the ninth and 13th centuries, Angkor Wat is the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire, one of the world’s great architectural triumphs. Grand Hotel d’Angkor

Day 12
Today we reboard our private jet and depart for Chengdu, China for dinner and overnight before departing to Tibet. Kempinski Hotel Chengdu

Days 13 and 14
Depart Chengdu by local flight to Tibet, landing in mystical Lhasa, once a “forbidden city.” We explore the spectacular Potala Palace, former home of the Dalai Lama; visit Jokhang Temple, the country’s oldest and most revered; and observe monks practicing in the Debating Courtyard of the 600-year-old Sera Monastery. Bramaputra Grand Hotel

Days 15 and 16
Return to Chengdu by local flight and board our private jet bound for Agra, capital of India’s Mogul empire in the 16th and 17th centuries. Witness one of the world’s greatest architectural wonders, the Taj Mahal. Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra

Days 17 and 18
We break up into smaller groups—each exploring a different part of Tanzania. At the Serengeti National Park, go deep into the savannah to witness the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa; at the Ngorongoro Crater, observe the permanent population of about 30,000 animals in the largest unbroken caldera in the world; or at Tarangire National Park, see the incredible array of birds among the baobab trees, and great herds of elephants and giraffe by the river, the area’s only permanent water source. Luxury tented camps or lodges

Days 19 and 20
Visit Egypt’s Luxor Temple, the temples of Karnak, and Tutankhamun’s tomb, and sail the Nile River in traditional felucca boats. Or, instead, fly to Jordan and visit the ancient lost city of the Nabataeans at Petra. Sonesta St. George Hotel Luxor; or Movenpick Hotel, Petra

Days 21 and 22
In Morocco, marvel at the medieval treasures of Saharan kings in Fez—which flourished under the Merinid Dynasty in the 13th and 14th centuries—and discover why it continues to be considered the spiritual, cultural, and intellectual capital of Morocco. Palais Jamai Fes

Day 23
Following breakfast, our jet carries us back to Fort Lauderdale to connect with your regularly scheduled commercial flight home.
