Vice President of Outreach and Engagement

Kathy joined the Association in 1993 and as Vice President of Outreach and Engagement is responsible for the operation, budgeting, and strategic planning of student recruitment, club, society, reunion, and student programs, and tours. Each year her office oversees more than 30 tours and 600 events, and coordinates the activities of 200 worldwide alumni clubs, 60 societies, and a network of 1,600 volunteer leaders.
Kathy earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s in labor and human resource management from Ohio State. She has presented workshops on creativity, networking, and team building and has won several awards for her presentations from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and was awarded the Alumni Forman Fellowship for her work in alumni relations. She has authored three articles in CASE Currents magazine and a chapter in a CASE training book.
Kathy is married to Jim Bickel, a football coach at Capital University.
