The ring ceremony starts the exciting series of events leading up to Commencement. Each participant is presented his or her ring by administrators within the Alumni Association and the university. With a reception prior to the start of the ceremony, there is time for friends and family to get together and reminisce about their time on campus.

Any person who has purchased a ring since the previous year's ceremony is welcome to participate, including non-graduating students and alumni from any year.

The rings will be presented by Archie Griffin, president/CEO of the Ohio State University Alumni Association and Senior Vice President for Alumni Relations. 

Invitations will be mailed out in mid-March 2012 to every person who has ordered a ring since last May and to the shipping address given at the time of the order. Student invitations, therefore, may be mailed to their parents' home address.

To RSVP for the Ring Ceremony, please e-mail studentprograms@ohiostatealumni.org with the name of the ring recipient and up to two additional guests' names by Friday, April 20, 2012.
